Father-Son Dance: Antonio Brown & Sharna Burgess performed a Foxtrot to “7 Years” by Lukas Graham. The football star’s most memorable year was back when he broke a college record and when his son was born. Guess that’s why Antonio, Jr. joined him for the open and close of his routine.
Nyle Brings Smiles: Nyle DiMarco & Peta Murgatroyd did a Tango to “Verge” by Owl City featuring Aloe Blacc. Bruno felt like he was going to explode, as this was the dance he was waiting for. He awarded the first 9 of the season. Len pointed out that Nyle is proof that anyone can do anything if they want to. See what he’s talking about.
Mischa’s Party Time: Mischa Barton & Artem Chigvintsev did a Samba to “Party in the USA” by Miley Cyrus. It couldn’t save her from elimination, but Mischa was all smiles during this particular routine. She was finally having some fun. See for yourself!
The Facts of Foxtrot: With Mrs. Garrett (aka Charlotte Rae) in the audience cheering loudly, Kim Fields was totally Tootie as she paid tribute to the sitcom that made her a star. Blair, Jo and Natalie would’ve been proud!
What a Knockout!: Paige VanZant & Mark Ballas performed a Paso to “300 Violin Orchestra” by Jorge Quintero. Paige chose to commemorate her UFC debut at age 20 with a cool Octagon set and a hard-hitting routine that was a total knockout performance.
Oh, Baby: Ginger Zee & Valentin Chmerkovskiy kicked off the evening in a fine way with a gorgeous Contemporary routine celebrating the love she feels for her family to “Home” by Phillip Phillips. Ginger’s beautiful baby boy made an appearance on stage and immediately burst into tears. Guess he want better scores than 7-7-7 from the judges.
