Bindi Irwin Named Dancing with the Stars Winner!

Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough are Dancing with the Stars winners! On the Season 21 Finale, the couple beat out contenders Nick Carter & Sharna Burgess and Alek Skarlatos &Lindsay Arnold to take home the coveted Mirrorball trophy. An Australian activist and actress, 17 year-old Bindi wowed judges and fans alike all season with her upbeat personality and heartfelt performances.

In the Part 1 of the Season Finale, she earned a perfect 30 score for her spirited Quickstep. Later, she moved the judges to tears with her Freestyle tribute to her late father, "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin, earning a second perfect score.

In the Part 2 of the Season Finale, Bindi and Derek turned in another perfect performance, earning a 30 for their Cha Cha / Argentine Tango to "All the Way" by Timeflies.

After winning the Mirrorball Trophy, an emotional Bindi said, "Thank you so much for everything. I can’t believe that I'm here. Just, thank you for changing my life."
