Gimme a Coffee Break: In “The Great Pretender,” Callie sees why Owen has game in the getting girls department. Amelia sees it, too. She pops by his place and leaves after getting a nice kiss. Now she must navigate some post-smooch awkwardness.
Get It Together: Amelia loses it for a minute. She insults Stephanie, who gives her a tough love speech. The general theme of it is for Amelia to get it together.
Shadow Effect: There’s a very good reason why Amelia is struggling with her confidence. As brilliant as she is, it’s always been tough living in the shadow of her brother.
Head in the Clouds: Callie worries about Arizona regarding the closeness of her relationship with Dr. Herman. Old habits. As for Dr. Herman, she admits that she doesn’t really want to hand over her surgeries. She doesn’t want to let go. The two docs continue to bond.
The Time Is Now: Dr. Herman begins feeling as though things are darker than usual. The time has come for both of them to do their thing. Amelia preps for the near-impossible. Arizona will do a solo surgery on patient while Dr. Herman allows herself to be the patient. The OR is prepped. The time is now.
