Grey's Anatomy Season 12 Recap: Top Moments
It wasn't too long ago that Grey's Anatomy Season 12 kicked off with Meredith adjusting to her two new roommates, Maggie and Amelia, Dr. Bailey fighting to prove she deserves the Chief of Surgery job, and Jackson preparing himself for April's return to Seattle in the premiere episode, "Sledgehammer." In the Season 12 finale episode, "Family Affair," Meredith and Maggie supported Amelia on her wedding day, Jo revealed that she's been keeping secrets from Alex, and Callie and Arizona came to an agreement on their custody arrangement. Meanwhile, Ben rushed into action to help deliver April's baby when she went into labor at Meredith's house. Episode 19 "It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding)" - Bailey suspends Ben for six months; Callie decides to follow Preminger Grant recipient Penny to New York.
Episode 20 "Trigger Happy" - Arizona hires an attorney to prevent Callie from moving Sofia to New York; Stephanie and Kyle start dating.
Episode 21 "You're Gonna Need Someone on Your Side" - Callie and Arizona prepare for a custody battle and must ask their friends to choose sides; Amelia and Owen go all in; Stephanie breaks up with Kyle.
Episode 22 "Mama Tried" - After a difficult trial, the judge awards sole custody of Sofia to Arizona.
Episode 23 "At Last" - Amelia proposes to Owen; Meredith and Riggs hook up; Callie dumps Penny; Jo tells Alex she won't marry him; Kyle passes away during an operation.
